I am using my old Blogspot account.  I would have created a new one but there is a lot of great info on there from past people.  My old DT used to post some great info so make sure you go back and check out all the goodies from past years.

Where has the time gone?

Wow... time flies when you're busy!  I have been swamped lately as I am sure you all are as well.

Hockey is over.

Basketball is over.

Bowling ends this week and swimming ends in 5 weeks.  Soccer starts this week though.

We are trying to take time to enjoy ourselves.  We have (as a family) taken time to go biking, walking, rollerblading, power walking... whatever we fell like and we do it every night.  It has been wonderful!

Jon starts his new job next weekend at Westjet!  I am very happy he got on with Westjet.  It is a HUGE pay cut but in the long run I think it will be a great move for our family. 

I have been busy with work.  Still enjoying my job.  I managed to escape the job cuts this year.  Thank god!

Next weekend I am going scrapbooking with Colleen for National Scrapbook Day.  We are spending Saturday & Sunday scrapping with SM&M in Edmonton.  I have already pre-planned my pages and I am raring to go.

I would love to know if anyone is still reading my blog!  I was contemplating switching back to Blogspot due to fees.  We'll see. 

Let me know (I have been out of it for a while) of any cool new sites and Twitter pages.  I would love to hear from you.

I plan on posting more now that I have the time.  I miss all my blogging homies!

Way to go Canada!

I am so beyond proud to be Canadian right now! 

I have never doubted that but wow!  We really showed the world over the past 17 days what Canadians are like.  Here are just a few pics.

My intentions this year...

1. to USE my shopping bags instead of buying tons and throwing them in my trunk.
2. to STOP volunteering so much.  Don't get me wrong, volunteering is rewarding and necessary.  I have NO time to myself though.  I over volunteer.
3. GET paid for extra work I do.
4. BE more positive everyday.
5. TAKE time to enjoy little things each day, even if it is just having a shower!
6. TAKE better care of my health.  I am not getting any younger.
7. ENJOY my children before they don't care to be around me.
8. ENJOY what I have and try to not want more.
9. SAVE UP to go on a trip with my kids.
10. USE my creativity more often.  Scrapbook, sew and craft more often than I do.
